Information we collect

When you book: your name, email, phone number if you give it, and any message you send us.

When you sign the waiver: your name, email, date of birth, an emergency contact, a parent or guardian's name for pilots under 18, and your signature.

When you pay: payments are handled by our payment processor through Wix. We never see or store your full card number.

When you browse: Wix, Google Analytics and Google Ads use cookies and similar tools to run the site, count visits and measure our ads. Analytics and advertising cookies only run if you accept them. See our Cookie Policy.

How we use it

To confirm and run your flight, tell you where to meet, contact you about weather changes, keep your signed waiver on file, reach your emergency contact if we need to, handle payments and refunds, and understand how people find our site. We only collect what we need for these purposes.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run the business: Wix (website, bookings and forms), our payment processor, and Google (analytics and ads). We may also share information when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, you can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising. We don't sell personal information. You can turn off advertising cookies any time in the cookie banner or by emailing us. We won't treat you differently for using these rights. Send requests to contact@montereyfpv.com. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records as long as we need them for business and tax purposes, and signed waivers as long as we may need them for legal or insurance reasons. After that, we delete them.

Security

We rely on the security built into Wix and our payment processor, and we limit who can see your information. No system is perfect, so let us know right away if you think something is wrong.

Children

Our website is meant for adults. Pilots under 18 are booked by a parent or guardian, who also signs the waiver for them. We don't knowingly collect information online directly from children under 13.
