Terms of Service
Effective October 2026. These terms apply when you use montereyfpv.com or book a flight with Monterey FPV Experience. By booking, you agree to them.
Bookings
You can book a session online. Your booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email. We choose the flying spot each day based on the weather and send you the location before your flight.
Who can fly
Pilots must be at least 12 years old. Pilots under 18 need a parent or guardian to sign the waiver for them and stay on site during the flight.
Waiver
Every pilot must sign our participant waiver before flying. You can sign it on our Waiver page or when you book. We can't fly with anyone who hasn't signed it.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown on our Packages page and at checkout. You can pay online when you book or in person on the day. Online payments are handled by our payment processor through Wix, and we never see or store your full card number.
Cancellations and changes
You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your flight. If we cancel for weather or safety, you choose a free reschedule or a full refund. Our Refund Policy has the details.
Safety
Follow your instructor's directions at all times. We fly under FAA rules, and we may pause or end a session if the weather, the site or anyone's behavior becomes unsafe.
Equipment
We provide the drone, goggles and controller. Crashes are part of learning, and you won't be charged for accidental damage during a normal session.
Limits of liability
The signed waiver applies to your flight. To the extent California law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Website content
The text, photos and video on this site belong to Monterey FPV Experience or are used with permission. Please ask before copying them.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by California law. We may update them from time to time, and the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
